So, uni recommences tomorrow. I'm actually quite legit sad about this. I know I like my course, and it'll be ok, I'm just not looking forward to all the stress that is sure to ensue.
Pretty behind on blogging this week, and I expect the frequency to decline as the semester progresses.
MONDAY
Work. Don't think anything else notable happened that day.
TUESDAY
I had my fellow musketeers over for movies and a vegetarian lunch. We watch Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants (I know right, how embarassing), naturally we always try to determine which character would best correspond to each of us. I ended up as Tibby (which I'm not at all offended by, her storyline is one of the more interesting ones) though I think I have a reasonable dash of Carmen in me. I think Big M always relates herself to Lena. Classic Big M. Though I think Junaberry is quite Lena-like too, though obv she's got that Bridget thing going on with her bodaciousness/long blonde hair and whatnot. We also watched Anastacia (LOVE that film) the animation is brilliant and it brings me back to my childhood. I also feel like a total BOSS being able to apply my knowledge of the Russian Revolution to the context of the movie. Then (against Junaberry's wishes) we watched Matilda (another childhood favourite of mine) - CAKE SCENE FTW!
We made guacamole (and when I say we, I mean Big M and Junaberry, as I made a salad while they did that), I also cooked some vegetarian satay skewers purchased from the local asian grocery store. I enjoyed them thoroughly, and their lack-of-meat-ness didn't seem to offend either of my carnivorous pals.
Naturally I took a photo:
Half eaten bowl of salad with plate of vegetarian skewers (which were a lot less oily than they appear from the paper towel)
It was a nice day, though my hostessing skills are probably lacking, but it's just Big M and Junaberry so it ain't no thang.
WEDNESDAY
Op-shopping with Junaberry. Got a $4 blouse from Anglicare. I may post a photo when it comes back from the wash. It was quite feminine - pale/pastel/pinkish, so hopefully I'll wear it. I liked the form/cut though...thought it was different to what I already have AND it was only $4 so if I don't like it, I'll just redonate it. It was TOKITO (I think) not that that name really means anything to me. Junaberry likes to call it Chockito (sp?) which is a tasty chocolate bar, thus I approve.
THURSDAY
Soft-serve run with Junaberry (getting sick of this kid's company by now)
I observed two ladies with empty sundae cups on their table. One of said ladies proceeded to have a 50c softserve cone. I was impressed. Felt moderately sick after the softserve - no way I could have stomached a sundae. Surprisingly I did not take a photo of said soft serves (WHO AM I???). We also observed two high school, caucasian girls walk out with cones considerably fuller than ours. We were not impressed. IT'S LIKE THE CANTEEN CHOCOLATE MUFFIN INCIDENT ALL OVER AGAIN!!! lol jks.
FRIDAY
O'DAY
Went to uni early to help out with the RRAN/Save the Children stalls. Did RRAN from about 9:30-12 then did SCA for the rest of the day. Pretty pumped about SCA - got heaps of contact details of interested folk - so even if only 20% get involved, we'll still have decent numbers :) Had quite a good day. Met more people from SCA they were nice.
SATURDAY
So disorganised scurrying to finish my dear friend, Pinkham's birthday stuff. Celebrated with a dinner at a new local eating establishment.
One vegetarian burger on the menu. (Mediterranean Vegie Burger) I had low expectations given that I'm not really keen on egg, but it was actually really nice. It was also ridiculously filling and pretty difficult to eat in a semi-civil way.
Side profile:
It was mushrooms, roasted peppers, tomatoes and spinach in an egg parcel.
So anyway, I hope Pinkham enjoyed her night, because she is a beautiful person and friend, who deserves all the happiness she gets.
TODAY
Well, today was... interesting.
Accompanied my friend YY to a Buddhist Vegetarian Food Eating Gathering (food gatherings are my favourite kind of gatherings)
Sampled some interesting vegetarian goodies (different to what I'm used to). Some were really nice, others I wasn't too keen on. I ate HEAPS though. (force fed by those around me)
I have more to say about this and some photos to post, but I'm lazy and New Girl's on soon.

littlemishelle's cooking adventures.
I cooked dinner again last night. It was a pretty simple recipe (managed to stuff it up a bit but it still turned out nice).
The recipe was for 'Green Pilau with Cashews'.
Here's how it turned out: (this is my LARGE bowl of Green Pilau with Cashews and salad)
So basically you roast the cashews and put them aside. Get the some oil and spring onion up in the joint, cook it a little. Add brown rice and fennel seeds and cook until coated. Then you chuck in some lemon juice and vegetable stock, and let it boil. The cookbook told me to then pop the lid on and cook for 45 minutes. (which I did - timed exactly) It wasn't until after I'd eaten my dinner that it occurred to me that since I increased the amount of ingredients by 50% (to make a bulk batch) I should have cooked it for 50% longer. (explained why there was more liquid than anticipated - which has initially left me very confused) After this 45 minutes it said to remove from heat, add the spinach and herbs, put the lid back on for 8 minutes, after which time you fork it through. I ended up putting it back on the heat after that to try evaporate more of the liquid (which helped a bit). Basically in the picture (in the cookbook) it looked quite dry, whereas mine turned out more risotto-like. Was still tasty (and now I know for next time) and Mum and I enjoyed it anyway.

One day I will cook with raging success. It will be awesome.
P.S This morning on our walk, Junaberry and I encountered our formed 'headmaster' [principal] pulling into the school car park as we were about to cross the road. As soon as Junaberry realised he was there she [unnaturally] turned to face the opposite direction. [who is this kid???!] He noticed us and waved. I waved back. Junaberry pretended to be very interested in the car park, and not notice. She was wearing sunnies and a hat, so maybe he couldn't tell it was her, but I secretly think he knows and is cut that his star student/dux ignored him. He will surely cry himself to sleep tonight.

don't count me chew.
My day:
As usual, it began with a morning walk with Junaberry. I got to her crib and she wasn't in sight (usually she sits outside her front door), naturally I assumed she must be hiding (because she does that sort of thing) I scanned the front yard, took a couple of steps forward and surely enough, I looked down to my right, to find her crouched behind her mailbox. Despite the fact that I pretty much found her immediately, for the next five minutes she exclaimed to herself how it was such a good hiding place.
After a good breakfast of vanilla almond porridge I got ready to go over to the Salvos. Stayed there for a few hours, colour coding/tidying up and working the register [like a boss] and putting mysatisfactory excellent customer service/social skills to good use. Little S and [I would say Little W, but there is only 1 'W' and I like the sound of Big W more] Big W stopped by and headed off. [Lil S came back a bit later after she had walked Big W home] Just before Little S and I were scheduled to head over to the bus [we had a lady date with Junaberry] I headed out back to collect my stuff and K the acting manager at the Salvos presented me with a lovely bouquet of flowers. [which was totally unexpected]
Since uni is going back soon she knows I probably won't be able to regularly commit to volunteering there, so as a goodbye present she gave me these and a lovely card. K is seriously one of the nicest people I know [and I'm not just saying that because she gave me flowers] She's just one of those rare people who is super nice/friendly, which makes for a great manager and a great working environment. There are only a few people in my life who I would put in this category - like 'a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day', cheesy/cliche but that's how I regard them.
Anyway I purchased a few books for my sister [at an insanely discounted price, courtesy of K] and dashed home with Lil S to drop off my flowers/work clothes/purchases and then we dashed to the bus stop with a few minutes to spare.
The initial plan was to go to Hans [Junaberry is a fake asian and enjoys it - that said I used to really like it, but since going vego my options there are quite limited and not too thrilling] however, Little S and I outvoted her so we just food courted it.
MY LUNCH:
Make-your-own-salad from Sumo: mixed lettuce leaves, falafel, pumpkin, chickpeas, snowpeas, corn, walnuts, sesame seeds with a lemon spice dressing. [with a complementary bread roll of course] Was delicious.
JUNABERRY'S:
I knew what eating establishment Junaberry would purchase her lunch from before we even told her we weren't going to Hans. Don't know exactly what this was...mexican food of sorts. [speaking of which I had 3 [yes three!] fajitas packed with tofu, brown rice, corn, lettuce, cucumber, avocado and salsa for dinner last night]
LITTLE S'S:
Looks like a ham [?] sub from Subway, packed with salad.
Following our feast we had way more fun than it is natural to have at [O]K-mart.
We <3 bargains.
Junaberry's first find: a pair of $10 heels. [which she contemplated getting for half an hour - 'but are they too whoreish???'. She didn't end up getting them.
OUTFIT ONE: [DAY]
TOTAL COST: 'Spray on Jeans' $5 + Shirt $5 + Heels $10 = $20!
It doesn't really photograph well, but it's pretty much the same cut as another dress I have and I didn't mind the print, and at that price it is a guilt-free purchase.
Same goes for this.

Funny thing is, that after all the time we spent mucking around and becoming delirious over our potential bargains, the only item that was purchased was the white [daytime] t-shirt. [purchased by little s]
Later we went to the op-shop across the road. I got a dress for $5 and a top for $3.
Same goes for this.
That's all for now, it's dinner time :)

read these.
I just remembered that I wanted to recommend these books to you guys. I read them a couple of weeks ago, and I would REALLY suggest you give them a go. I think it's really important for people to read first hand accounts of what it's like to be a refugee/asylum seeker in order to develop some empathy. If the mainstream media actually highlighted experiences like these (instead of propagating racism and fear) I think we would have significantly less ignorance in society.

http://carinahoang.com/book
I think 'The Happiest Refugee' is a particularly good one, as his style of writing makes it easy to engage with his story. Reading them simultaneously, however, was helpful in that in gave more background/in depth information about what he was talking about. As a warning, books like these are always difficult to read, simply due to the subject matter, but I'd say it's worth doing.

pumping iron (and by iron I mean books).
Haven't blogged for almost a week, so to catch you folks up on my fast paced, action packed life:
FRIDAY
After asking several of my friends (thanks for replying guys -_-) I recruited Little S (who happily accepted) to catch a 7:30 bus to go lift heavy boxes with me. We had decided to catch the 7:30 ish bus (rather than the 7:15 ish bus) as we figured 5 mins would be plenty of time to get to our connecting bus in the city. Our bus was running over 5 minutes late. Traffic was ridic. Little S frequently checked the time, as we tried to predict whether there was any way to make our connecting bus. She also looked up alternate routes. I'm sure you'll be glad to hear that although our bus got there 5 minutes late, our connecting bus was also late, so luckily we made it.
Being unfamiliar with the destination to which we were heading, Little S consulted google maps, and after 20 mins or so we dinged le bell and got off. We approached what I believed to be our destination (SC box sorting headquarters), however we approached it tentatively as Little S feared it was actually a dungeon of sorts. Luckily I was correct.
So after introductions we formed a human chain and began passing boxes out to the truck, managing to make a sizeable dent in what was a room literally packed from floor to ceiling with boxes of books (that will later be sold to benefit SCA). Our workforce consisted of: 2 small asian girls, a 70 year old man, a couple of middle aged guys, 2 youngish women and for half the time a youngish guy. Not exactly a weight lifting team. The weather forecast for that day was 36 degrees and even by 9-10am it was pretty warm. My face was dripping with sweat as mytiny massive biceps struggled passed on the boxes with ease. It was disgusting.
The SC volunteers are a great bunch though. One of the best things about volunteering is definitely all of the great people you get to meet.
And I am glad to say my arms/shoulders have finally recovered.
Afterwards we skipped around at uni and I picked up my model to take home.
OH AND I ALMOST FORGOT. That morning we discovered that we had the wrong mobile numbers for each other. So all this time when she thought she'd been messaging me about getting some T&A she was really messaging some unknown person, who probably thinks she is a big perve. Classic Little S. Made my day.
WEEKEND
Uneventful. Tried to rest.
Oh, but Sunday night I made dinner. (ME COOKING??!! YES TIS TRUE. HOUSE IS STILL STANDING)
I made lentil rissoles (vegetarian of course)
They were a bit of a fail because I had to cook them quickly (and didn't leave them in the fridge to firm for long enough) as I wanted to be seated to watch New Girl. So half of the first batch fell apart in the pan (like a fool I was using wooden chopsticks to turn them, after switching to tongs it wasn't so bad) They were a little too oily (recipe said to deep fry, but I shallow fried) and breadcrumby for my taste, but they were aight. I did the second batch yesterday in the oven, they were better.
YESTERDAY
Salvos in the morning.
Work in the afternoon.
TODAY
Went on a morning walk with Junaberry as per usual.
As we walked she points out this car 'Oh look it's my parents, LET'S WAVE!!' *starts waving*
It wasn't her parents.
Later on I'm going to a RRAN meeting to paint banners and do further planning for O'Day.
Tomorrow I'm going for dim sum.
Catch you homies on the flip side.

the sink's broken!
Today Big M, Little S, Junaberry and I caught up, with a trip to IKEA and some fro-yo.
Naturally I love IKEA; I've always enjoyed furniture stores and probably always will. I think I will have so much fun furnishing/decorating my own house (assuming I'm not super poor, because let's face it, these things add up). I'm also REALLY curious as to how my friends' houses will look.
I predict...
Junaberry will live in the countryside in the UK. She will have a quaint cottage with dogs roaming in and around the property. Her furnishings will be classic, simple yet charming. She will have a spacious kitchen, appropriate for baking, a bathroom with a toilet situated right in the centre (beside which her toothbrush holder will sit), large [well stocked] bookcases and her rooms will be flooded with natural light and picturesque views of the surrounding landscape. She may have floorboards, cute wall paper and a lover who will frollick in the meadows with her. She [apparently like the rest of the world] will eat porridge and desserts with massive tablespoons.
Big M will live in a spacious, modern suburban home, in a very nice neighbourhood (think green grass and white picket fences). She will reside here with her husband and 50 children. Her decor will be of the latest fashions, however due to her taste level, her selections will remain timeless. She will occasionally splurge on designer items, however she will get these items at a fraction of the original price and you will see her buying snacks [massive dixie drumstick bags from the reject shop?] in bulk. Her house will largely reflect the needs of her children, but will still exhibit a certain level of class and order. She will also have a massive walk in wardrobe, with plenty of space to accomodate her clothing and accessories.
Little S. Will live in a teepee [sp?] and wear shoes reminiscent of the times of Pocahontas. ...no, probably not. She will, however have a household that is a little crazy. She could live in the city or the suburbs [wherever the wind takes her] and, as a Vietnamese woman, she will probably have an abundance of children, who will grow up to be extremely polite and well mannered, much like their mother. Her partner will be very intelligent with a dash of crazy. Her house may be a tad messy, but it will have character, style and comfort.
Enough of that.
Whilst at IKEA Big M, Junaberry and I became quite pumped about the possibility of scoring this lamp
for $2.50! ...we later discovered that the globe was sold separately for $9.95. While this is still a decent price for a lamp, it is not $2.50, so we abandoned our idea of having matching $2.50 lamps, and exited the store promptly [after having located the wall clocks].
Prior to exploration of knick knacks we dined in the IKEA food court, which tbh disappointed me.
I split a piece of chocolate cake and a 'spring onion and sweet potato' quiche with junaberry.
The chocolate cake was ok, [wasn't offensive] just nothing to rave about [not worth the amount of fat and sugar that I'm sure it contained]
The quiche was ridic oily - the most oily thing I've consumed in months - besides this it was not offensive, but it was nothing special. I think I was disappointed as I disregarded the 'quiche' part and was expecting it to be more sweet potato-y, almost like a sweet potato pie or something? but I probably only got one to three small pieces of sweet potato in my half, so it was mainly oily egg [which I'm not keen on], spring onion, cheese [too oily] and pastry [which could have been nicer]
So probs won't eat there again, unless something is super cheap, or I'm starving.
Big M had meatballs, which I assume she enjoys as this is the second time she's had them.
Afterwords [like fattys] we went and got fro-yo. Even though I was really hungry I enjoyed it anyway because on a 36 degree day, it does the trick.
This is a picture of my fro-yo: mango, raspberry, pomegranite, tiny bit of choc with some strawberries, kiwi fruit, mixed berries, almonds and passionfruit syrup. Was good.
Here you can also see Junaberry's left foot, modelling some new nail polish, less fluorescent than previously.
Afterwards we wandered around the city, and Little S and I got the bus home together. It was the hottest, most ridiculous bus ride I have experienced in some time. If I'm not too lazy, I may write a strongly worded letter of complaint to state politicians about the transport system/vehicles, as the bus driver recommended. I feel so bad for bus drivers who have to work in those conditions all day. It had to be over 40 degrees in that poorly ventilated, over-crowded bus - surely that has to be an occupational health and safety hazard?
All for now.

recommendations.
To mix things up I thought I'd write a post that isn't about food, but instead about one of my other loves, music.
I have quite an extensive collection of music that I listen to, and in my opinion (naturally) I think I have excellent taste. I also like making lists, so, in no particular order, here are some songs/artists that I'm really into at the moment, who I recommend you check out :) I doubt anyone will listen to all of these, but if you do, you're welcome.
KIMYA DAWSON
I absolutely LOVE Kimya Dawson. I fell in love with her music since I got the Juno soundtrack and heard Loose Lips, Tire Swing, etc a few years ago. She does not disappoint with her latest album (possibly her best). She has songs for all occasions: making smoothies, going to the library and finding seven hungry tigers in your underwear drawer.
Personal Faves: Driving, driving, driving, Same Shit/Complicated

REGINA SPEKTOR
I'm sure all of you know her, but I wanted to include her on this list anyway, because I could listen to her all day.
Personal Faves: Eet, Laughing With

I HEART HIROSHIMA
I got their album recently, and really like their style of music. It's addictive stuff.
Personal Faves: Punks, Crook'd, Surgery
I don't really know what's going on in this video but here it is.

TOKYO POLICE CLUB
Pretty sure I first heard about them on the Gilmore Girls (90% sure they are a band that Lane, etc like, they may have talked about going to their show or something?...unless I'm just making this up)
Personal Faves: Frankenstein, Favourite Food
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbQL4LpHsiM
THE YOUNG VEINS
The other half of Panic at the Disco (Ryan Ross and John Walker) with a few other guys. They have a pretty Beatles-y sound (kinda like PATD second album Pretty Odd but more Beatles) So naturally I love them.
Personal Faves: Defiance, Maybe I will, Maybe I won't
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxKxBFzRKJc
THE NAKED AND FAMOUS
Personal Faves: All of This, Punching in a Dream
This video is good.

THAO WITH THE GET DOWN STAY DOWN
Rare to come across a band with a Vietnamese frontwoman, but this is def a good one. She has a great voice and the whole album is great. In the video the actual music starts about half way through, the first half is Thao and Dianna Agron talking about the video and Oxfam.
Personal Faves: Know Better Learn Faster, Body

LIKE A VERSION
Got the triple j Like a Version 6 and 7 and there are some REALLY good covers on here. Some that stand out are 'Pumped Up Kicks' - Owl Eyes, 'Girls just want to have fun' - Busby Marou, 'Hey Ya!' - Sarah Blasko, 'Say it Right' - Angus and Julia Stone, 'Dance the Way I feel' - Gossling.

There are heaps more that I could add to this list; Little Dragon, Belle and Sebastian, Laura Imbruglia, Lykke Li, The Grates, etc, etc. but I'm getting lazy now. Hope you've found something you like. (and hope the links work!)

lunch.
This is the salad I made/consumed earlier today, for lunch.
It contained: cos/iceburg lettuce, carrot, cucumber, corn, sugar snap peas, cashews, broad beans/other vegies extracted from a leftover tofu/spinach curry. Unfortunately no avocado today. Pretty large serve, no? And now I'm eating an apple for a snack before work.

fatty-ness ensues.
This is a photo of some ice cream I consumed yesterday.
Looks good right?
Peanut Butter 'N Chocolate and Jamoca Almond Fudge.
Looking at this blog, it would seem that food is my main recreational activity. I wouldn't deny this.
Am currently listening to 'You make my Dreams' by Hall and Oates, such a happy/feel good song...one of those songs that makes you want to jump up and dance really embarassingly and whatnot :)
Just thought I'd share that.

best movie.
On Saturday I FINALLY caught up with my uni friend G. The plan was to go and see the Muppets movie at the cinemas where she used to work, then go for lunch. So naturally I get there early (no fashionably late entrances for me) which is fine, cos I just wander around the shopping centre then head to the cinemas (I come prepared with my iPod and reading materials to quell any boredom that I may experience).
So she arrives, we purchase the tickets (for $8 - chyeah) and after some small talk with her former workmates (standing there while your friend talks to people you don't know - happens a lot with uni friends - though it actually wasn't bad) we head into cinema 1 (which at that stage has no lights on inside - note that cinemas are VERY dark without any lights whatsoever). We head in anyway because we're fearless and she hollas at her friends to let them know. We're early to the film and no one else is there yet, so we're just chatting away. It gets to be 5 or so minutes after the film was scheduled to begin and it hasn't. She calls them up to let them know, they say the projector guy is late and it should be put on soon, no one else is there so it's no problem cos we're in no rush. She hangs up, a guy and presumably his two daughters walk in, short after I assume a grandmother (or an older mother - unlikely) comes in with two young kids (under 5). Well, eventually 20 or so minutes pass, still no movie (I think the father had called up too, to check what was going on) an employee comes in and says that they're having technical difficulties but it should be on soon (not sure exactly when), then comes the 30 min mark another one comes in and says it should be running in 10-15 mins. After 10-15 mins a manager or something comes in to apologise and say the film session won't be running, and that we can go get refunds. (we learn apparently all the theatres are having problems) We left kinda disappointed, but weren't too fussed. I felt sorry for the people with the kids though; now having to find some other activity to occupy them and having wasted 45 minutes of their time.
We ended up going to the beach for lunch and getting burgers for lunch (my suggestion of course - I'm really quite keen on vego burgers) I got a garden goodness burger, containing a vegie patty, beetroot (which prior to then I hadn't really tried - I found it unoffensive and would happily eat it again), cheese, avocado, salad, relish and herbed mayo. It was enjoyable.
They actually permitted G to get one of the kids meals (usually reserved for children 7 and under) which I thought was pretty rad as most places never allow it. Felt like such a fatty, and at one stage somehow managed to get herbed mayo on my nose (WAY TO KEEN) which was a tad embarassing. After that we just walked around, sat and talked, avoided seagulls (who at one stage drove us from our comfortable spot on the stairs) and tried to avoid sunburn.
We headed back to the bus/train station and she ran into a guy she knew from high school, who was catching the same bus as me. I had just missed the bus before by 10 minutes and had a 50 minute wait, though G, being a good friend, waited for about half an hour before going to meet with her boyfriend, who was picking her up. The guy she knew was relatively talkative so luckily I [mostly] was able to avoid those awkward silences that usually occur in these situations. It turned out he was doing an apprenticeship as an electrician, which I think is kind of an interesting career option. I enjoyed the electricity topic in physics in yr 11/12 but that's about how far my knowledge on the subject goes. I think I'd be too concerned about electrocuting myself to be an electrician.
The bus finally arrived. You know when you're catching the same bus as a friend who isn't really close, or an aquaintance (this applies particularly if they're a guy) and there's that awkward moment of deciding where to sit (beside the person, behind, in front, etc)? Well naturally (after allowing the prams and elderly on first, of course) I tried to get on before him, so I didn't have to make that decision. (am I the only one who thinks/considers this shiz? I'm probably just a socially awkward weirdo, I dunno?) So I get on and he sits on the seat across the aisle from me which also turns out to be in front of someone he seemed to know from school. From that point our conversation ceased and I just listened to music while he talked to her, and we pretty much pretended like we hadn't been talking for the last 40 minutes. (awkward right?) It didn't really bother me, I was actually quite amused with it. I think it quite clearly demonstrates the kind of socially awkward person I am though (I'm sure someone else would have just sat wherever without a thought, introduced themselves to the other person and joined in the conversation) I think I always over think things. Like when you seem to be the only person with a spare seat next to you on a full bus (am I THAT offensive looking/smelling??!) and even worse if there are people standing up and you have a spare seat next to you (OMG WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!?!) but at the same time feeling like 'chyeah I don't have to sit next to some [potentially stanky] stranger [who might be a seat hog], this is great!' Whatever.
Anyways I had a really nice day, on Sat. Weather was great, good company, good food, all that jazz.
I just realised this is probably an exceptionally boring post. My apologies if you wasted your time reading this.

food consumption.
On Monday I had another falafel kebab (I KNOW! - is kebab consumption all that I do with my life??) Actually prior to my previous kebab encounter I hadn't eaten one in almost a year. But then, naturally after I described my delicious kebab to my best friend; much like a child (who wants everything the other kids have) a few days later she suggested that we go for kebabs. So we did. While I still enjoyed it, it was definitely inferior to the one I had last time.
Here is a photo of my friends kebab.
Chicken (UURGH) (if you guys can give me shiz for being a vego, it is only fair that I can do the same, no?)
Here is my kebab (free of dead animals :P)
I really love falafel so it was good, but I got all soggy at the end. Origin kebabs > Kebab Co.

Note the puddle of mayonaise/oil with chicken/bread pieces that junaberry's chicken kebab became:
tasty? we're all class.
After these adventures I returned home and my dear friend pinkham dropped by. She brought me a watermelon and some tasty vegetarian lasagna, that I had for lunch the following day.
It looked like this:
I assume you know what a watermelon looks like.
...Is it just me or is this becoming a food blog?
Might blog later about my adventures with pinkham yesterday, but I'm lazy at the moment.
